Dorothy Elaine Staley, 90, passed away January 31. She was born December 18, 1925 in Sioux City, Iowa to John William and Isabel Monahan Stough. After marrying John Campbell Staley, they settled in Kansas City and soon after Independence, MO. Raising six children while working for the Girl Scouts of America, Dorothy still found time to return to school and earn her BA and Masters in Education from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
