Eugene A. Rasmussen, age 75, of Laurie passed away Monday, January 25 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born July 16, 1940, in Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minnesota, a son of the late Thorwald "Slim" and Kay Rasmussen.In 1975 in Phelps County, he was united in marriage to his surviving wife, Ortrud "Trudy" Rasmussen.Eugene served in the Corps of Engineers in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.
